Summer Night on the Beach

The beach was empty except for the sound of waves.

Alex and Nina had walked for almost an hour along the shoreline, their footprints disappearing behind them as the tide slowly moved in.

The moon reflected on the water like silver.

“Do you ever feel like nights like this are unreal?” Nina asked.

Alex laughed quietly.

“Only when you’re here.”

They sat on the sand, watching the horizon.

The air was warm and the ocean breeze carried the smell of salt and summer.

Nina rested her head on his shoulder, and Alex wrapped his arm around her.

Neither wanted to leave.

Because sometimes the most powerful moments are simply two people sharing silence beneath the stars.
